Every year, about halfway through Le Tour, rumors about 2019 start swirling. Talk of new sponsors, rider transfers and equipment swaps replace the castle-chat on the commentary. It’s no different this side of the pond. At 3T / Q+M we’re starting to make plans for next season, and as a little taste of things to come, we’re welcoming some new riders and partners right away.
We’re partnering with Swisse to support Femme Equipe for the rest of the season. Cat has been out
recruiting, I mean, racing with these folks on the road all season and with the help of Swisse we can make it official. Our team has always been about the love of adventure, and the opportunities to explore with great people that cycling affords. These women bring tons of talent on and off the bike, and to the top level of professional cycling in North America.
You already know (way too much?) about Cat who will be joining:
Lori Nedescu, a long time endurance athlete currently specializing in long road courses, finish climbs and stage races. Off the bike she is a registered sports dietitian, freelance nutrition writer & blogger. @CadenceKitchen
Jennah Dunham brings overall strength as a solid domestique, logistical pro & technical descender. When not playing bikes, she is a community engagement operations manager at Warren Wilson College. @Jennah_Dunham
Stefanie Sydlik is an experienced pro road cyclist who excels in power to weight courses and time trials. Off the bike, she is a chemistry nerd & professor at Carnegie Melon. @StefSydlik
Amelia Kirby brings a vibrant positive energy to the group & specializes in technical, blazing fast criterium courses. Her position at BikeFlights keeps her mind on bikes all the time. @Oatmelia
Currently we’re planning on seeing you all at:
• Intelligentsia Cup (July 20-29), Chicagoland Area, IL
• Reading Radsport Festival (August 4-5), Reading, PA
• Boone Gran Fondo (August 4-5), Boone, NC
• Hincapie Gran Fondo (October 20), Greenville, SC
• Bookwalter Binge Gran Fondo (October 27), Asheville, NC
• Dirty Dozen Challenge (November 24), Pittsburgh, PA
We’ll have some more big news about 2019 coming in the following weeks, and we look forward to seeing you out on the road.
